So, these were the very worst... Dishonorable mention goes to Driven,
Jurassic Park 3
and any movie that takes place on the planet Mars.

You asked for it!
These are my 5 least favorite films for the year 2001
There were A LOT of bad movies this year, and while I was lucky enough to have missed a few (Freddy Got Fingered) I still saw my share of stinkers.
Click the posters to read my complete rant for each affront to the cinema!

Remember, unlike those who review films for a living, I haven't seen every movie released during the year.  This list is chosen from the films that I have been unfortunate enough to have paid good money to endure.

#1:  Monkeybone
#2:  Pearl Harbor
#3:  Impostor
#4:  Training Day
#5:  Tomb Raider

So, these were the very worst... Dishonorable mention goes to Driven,
Jurassic Park 3
and any movie that takes place on the planet Mars.

Directed By: Simon West
Starring:  Angelina Jolie
Rated:  PG-13 (Violence / Sensuality)
Running Time:  93 Min.

Even Angelina Jolie in tight shorts couldn't save this awful video-game-based movie.  In fact, the best thing about it is the poster!
Directed By:  Antione Fuqua
Starring:  Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke,
Snoop Doggy Dog
Rated:  R (Language / Violence / Nudity)
Running Time:  123 Min.

Denzel plays a really bad man... and that's enough of an acting departure to warrant an Academy Award nomination?  I don't think so.  (Homey don't play that.)
Directed By:  Gary Fleder
Starring:  Gary Sinise, Vincent D'Onofrio
Rated:  PG-13 (Violence / Language)
Running Time:  91 Min.

Impostor?  Yeah, there's truth in advertising!  Disguised as a science-fiction thriller, this low budget yawn-fest had me wondering what I'd done to deserve such torture.
I'm innocent, innocent I tell you!!!
Directed By:  Michael Bay
Starring:  B  E  N      A  F  F  L  E  C  K
Rated:  PG-13 (War-time Violence)
Running Time:  190 Minutes

The horrors of war-time love triangles.  For shame!
Directed By:  Henry Selick
Starring:  Brendan Fraser, John Turturro, Bridget Fonda, Rose McGowan, Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Kattan,
Dave Foley
Rated:  PG-13 (Crude Humor / Language / Brief Nudity)
Running Time:  88 Min.

Yes, even worse than Pearl Harbor, this body switching 'comedy' gives new meaning to the phrase "Eww..."
